A similar backup program software out there on the market is Norton Ghost 9.0. This program when it first came out was considered one of the top of the line products for computer backup. It is a program that is capable of creating Windows backup images without PC restart or exiting Windows. Norton Ghost also has the ability to create scheduled backups.
The biggest disadvantage of Norton Ghost is that it does not run on computers that run on older copies of Windows (‘95 or ‘98). This program is also slower than others and e-mail support is said to be slow. However, for those who have new computers, this program would work great, but it does require an optional install of a disk-wiping tool on a separate disk.
There is also a later version of Norton Ghost that is available. This one has received the same rating as the 9.0 version, however.
